Hi, I’m Nathan.
Midlands based e-Learning developer with over a decade of experience in all things e-Learning.
Me.
I began working in the eLearning industry in 2012 for one of the UK’s largest e-Learning vendors, where I gained invaluable experience developing courses for some of the biggest global brands, all the while developing a versatile content creation skillset.
That skillset now allows me to fulfil a broad range of roles to an even broader range of clients on a freelance basis
How can I help?
Design and Development.
Storyline, Captivate, Lectora, Adapt, Rise, Gomo, iSpring – I’ve used a huge range of different applications and authoring tools throughout my career and I’m confident I can produce high quality and engaging e-Learning content with anything thrown at me, however these are the tools I’m most experienced with.
Whether it’s general production, bespoke template design, gamification, voiceover implementation or even translation work; I’m well acquainted with the most widely used authoring tools, allowing me to slot into your production team at a moment’s notice.
Adobe Applications.
Just in case it needs to be said; I am of course an experienced and avid user of many of the Adobe Creative Cloud packages, including: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premier and XD.
3D and Animation.
Having initially started in the games industry being able to use 3D packages and produce both 2D & 3D animation has always been a handy complementary asset when producing e-Learning content.
Project management, team leading and team development.
I’ve played some fantastic project management and team leader roles over the years; I have been responsible for building and developing a team of e-Learning designers, upskilling and supporting juniors, leading a team to produce professional, high-end e-Learning content that was consistently on time and on budget.
I’ve project managed some of the biggest e-Learning courses for some of the biggest brands throughout the entire lifecycle of e-Learning development – from project conception / pre-sales through to development and testing, and finally through to delivery.
Consulting and process implementation.
Being so widely versed in the different areas of e-Learning has allowed me unique opportunities to assist organisations looking to transition from outsourcing their
e-Learning to a full in-house setup.
I have shared my knowledge and experience with organisations, putting in place complete development processes and successfully transitioning a full role hand-over leaving the organisation with complete e-Learning independence.
Operational Level.
I have been involved in roles at an operational level that have seen me responsible for building an e-Learning team from the ground up, handling recruitment and employment, operating and managing at an organisational level which included responsibilities such as managing workloads, project scheduling and developing operational processes.
Connections and relationships.
Having been so fortunate to work with a range of different e-Learning development companies, different clients, different freelancers and contractors, I’ve amassed a large network of connections and relationships.
In short; As an e-Learning developer with over a decade of experience; If I can’t do it, I almost definitely know someone that can.
